Good review Anastacia. I loved his book and the practical advice he gave. But I think the thing I loved the most is knowing Bryan does not talk about a Pollyanna type of happiness. Smile, no matter what is going on. His book is about being authentically happy and it tells you how to get there.

Thank you, Anne! Your are right. He does talk about how to be authentically happy.

It has been a long time since I read Pollyanna.

After reading your comment and your review I decided to try reading Pollyanna again.

I can relate to her always positive no matter the circumstances attitude. But I was glad to see that Pollyanna did cry sometimes. She was human too.

I guess in Pollyanna’s case she would be considered acting happy.

As Bryan said, “Acting happy is the quickest, surest way to becoming truly happy.”
