Well, I’m two days past my due date! I have been feeling fine though. I am now having my doctor visits twice a week. It was hard for me to believe my husband when he told me that my doctor is younger than I am. I am only 30 years old! Surely she can’t be younger than I am!
Oh well, I’m still waiting though. I don’t want to be induced so I’m holding off until Jonathan is ready to come on his own. I’m hoping it is soon though. I don’t know exactly why but I felt a bit disappointed this morning when I woke up. I was hoping for more contractions during the night or something. I’m just going to enjoy the family baby shower my mom is planning today. My parents are also wanting to take the children to the store to buy presents for the baby as well. So I’ll get a little bit of peace and quiet today as well. I’ll probably even get a nap in while they are at the store.
Oh look at all those “I”s in the last 2 paragraphs! I guess I’m showing a little bit of the selfish side there. Now I’ll talk about my kids before I litter this page with too much about myself!
Joshua, Ruth, and Hannah, are all doing great! They are reading so well. I bought them each a book from Wal-mart. Joshua picked out a book about snakes and crocodiles, Ruth picked out a My Little Ponies book, and Hannah picked out a Dora the Explorer book. They just love to read their books. Even Hannah likes to read hers. Her book has pictures in place of some of the words so that she can “read” it herself with a little help.
